But I wouldn't have it any other way. Having a family is one of the hardest but rewarding things ever. Documenting these moments means SO much to me and I would be honored to document this time of your life too! We all want the perfect photo of our kids looking at the camera and smiling, and I utilize every random sound I know to get their attention!

If you visited my about me section, you'd know that I'm a mom to two little boys. My days are filled with chasing two kids around, hosting dance parties, or picking up crumbs all over the house etc.

Newborn sessions are best within four weeks after birth. Sessions usually take place in the morning and I plan to arrive right as the baby is getting fed. Baby should be wrapped in a swaddle (I can help with this). While mom or dad puts the baby to sleep, I take photos of the nursery.

Once baby is fully asleep, we will do individual photos of the baby making sure to get all the amazing little details such as hands, toes, hair etc. After baby has their spotlight time, we'll add in the rest of the family. 
Newborn sessions typically take between 1.5-2 hours. 

I recommend family sessions atleast once year, it's amazing how different our little ones look year to year. 
Family sessions are typically held outdoors near the Wheaton, IL area. If you are interested in a different location, please let me know and we can work through those details. 

I always recommend choosing outfits that are more neutral with little splashes of color. There should be solid colors mixed with patterns in your outfits. My goal with family sessions is to capture your family having fun but also getting those posed shots that always make it on the walls of your home.
